Student Liaison Advisory Council

Student representatives from any of the health care-related disciplines serve on the Student Liaison Advisory Council (SLAC). This student team works together to host monthly IPE Student Grand Rounds and the TeamTalks Podcast to encourage engagement in, foster a responsibility for, and communicate the importance of providing patient-centered care through an interprofessional practice.

Through the effort of the SLAC, graduating students will learn the importance of collaborating and integrating clinical care to optimize health outcomes for our patients. Other activities of the SLAC include organizing an interprofessional student interest group focused on Improving Patient Care through Interprofessional Practice and hosting interprofessional special interest round table discussions.
